I was watching a documentary the other day and it went over the relationship between health and stress. Did you know that your level within your company can determine the level of stress you have? The study researched variables associated to stress and concluded that those in higher positions of authority tend to have lower levels of induced stress. I thought this was an interesting study, as all americans have some sort of level of induced stress. The study continued to state that those who are in lower level of authority have less control over decisions and thus leaves them in a state of “fear”. The idea that control signifies decision making authority and the level of decision making responsibility is directly correlated to your level stress tells us a lot about human psychology. Either way, pretty cool stuff.
In the meantime, let’s all #makeithappen.
